Trailer/ base:
The trailer included in this price is a custom built NON REGISTER-ABLE trailer and only has rated axles and wheels for the purpose of moving it around private property, insurance options are slim.
An optional upgrade is available to a 10-ton rated, air-braked truck trailer. This trailer is fully register-able and designed for heavy-duty transport requirements.
Please note:
This trailer type is only manoeuvrable using a prime mover or similar vehicle equipped with air-brake capability, thus making transport costs relatively higher comparing to a 4.5T electric braked trailer.
The additional cost for upgrading to this trailer is approximately $25,000.
We can construct this Abode on two × 6m VIN-plated 4.5T trailers, to sit side-by-side.
This method provides the option to join the two halves with a central deck or similar linking structure, depending on client layout and design preference.Key advantages of the dual-trailer setup:
Easier towing — each trailer remains within manageable towing limits
Simplified insurance — treated as two compliant trailers rather than one oversized rig
Flexibility in positioning once on site
This configuration is ideal for clients seeking improved transport logistics and simpler compliance while still achieving the full footprint of the larger Abode, This option is an extra $17,000
Transportation is excluded from the contract price due to the variable cost of moving the abode from our factory to the client’s location.
If going down the route of Non register-able trailer, We highly recommend Clements Haulage for their experience and specialised equipment. They operate an extra-low truck trailer to minimise the risk of height collisions during transport, and also provide tractor assistance to:
Pull the abode from our factory
Load it onto the flatbed trailer
Position it at the client’s specified resting location
Their pricing typically starts from $3,500 + GST for local moves, with final costs dependent on distance, site access, and ground conditions.
Building Variations changes and extras:
Micro-cement countertops and/or bathroom walls are available as an optional upgrade.
This finish is priced upon application, depending on surface area and selected colour/texture.All appliances are excluded, we recommend a gas oven/cooktop combo for ease of installation and low power usage.
Exterior cladding can be upgraded or modified to full corrugated roofing/walling (Colorbond® or similar).
Choosing this option results in a $4,000 reduction from the overall build price.Interior walls and ceiling can be changed to full plasterboard, finished in the client’s choice of paint colour.
All internal sheet joins are finished with 1100mm vertical mouldings for a clean, architectural look.Choosing this option provides a $3,000reduction to the overall build price.

On-site plumbing is not included in the build price. Required works typically include, but are not limited to:
Connecting the down pipe to the client-supplied water tank
Linking the water pump to the Abode
Installing a grey-water retention system or any other wastewater treatment required for council or property compliance
For reference, our previous RJ model required excavation and underground piping, which resulted in approximately $5,000 in additional on-site costs. Actual costs vary depending on soil type, distance to tanks, ground access, and system type.
Clients who wish to complete some or all on-site plumbing works themselves are welcome to do so — we can guide you through the process to help reduce costs.
We highly recommend installing a grey-water treatment system or grease trap setup for optimal environmental performance,
We can supply stand-alone GreenLoo units starting from $1,925. (these systems have in-built pumps and filters which can be used to irrigate clean grey water throughout property)We highly recommend installing concrete support piers in the specified locations before your Abode arrives. These piers provide stable support points for the adjustable legs and secure tie-down anchors, ensuring safe placement and long-term structural stability.
Preparing these piers ahead of delivery ensures a seamless installation process and prevents delays or additional lifting once the Abode is on-site.
We can guide you through the process if you wish to complete the work yourself, or we can complete the installation for an additional $2,500.
The ground must be prepared and levelled prior to the arrival of your Abode.
This may include:Flattening and grading the site
Adding and compacting road base where required
Ensuring a stable, even surface for the Abode to sit on
Proper ground preparation ensures safe delivery, correct installation height, and long-term structural stability.
We offer the option to design and construct a timber deck with an attached flyover roof/pergola, using matching roofing materials for a seamless connection to your Abode.
This structure can be built directly attached to the Abode or positioned adjacent, depending on site layout and client preference.Pricing for this option starts from $8,500, with final cost dependent on the specified size and design requirements.
